The island of Opuou is located in the Society Islands of French Polynesia, 10 minutes by boat to the north of the main town of Patio on Tahaa Island, which has shops and all the usual services including medical. It is also conveniently located only 25 minutes from the island of Raiatea, which has an airport with daily flights to Tahiti and Bora Bora. It can be reached by a good sized speed boat.
Offering seclusion yet close to neighbouring islands, Opuou is located in a protected lagoon along a coral reef, is surrounded by clear turquoise waters and has lovely white sandy beaches.
