Best Time To Travel
One of the most popular times to travel to Pumpkin Island is during the Australian winter. Home to a tropical climate, humidity can be high on the island. Between the months of June to September, however, the temperatures still hover around the mid-to-late twenties, yet the weather is decidedly less humid than throughout the rest of the year.

How To Get There
Situated on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast, Pumpkin’s nearest airport is Rockhampton. Long-haul travellers are advised to fly into one of Australia’s many international airports before transferring to Rockhampton via one of Australia’s larger carriers.
