“The Rania Experience” is a bespoke private island residence. In the local language of Dhivehi, the name “Rania” comes from the word “Rani” meaning “queen” and the Island is truly worthy of the title. The Island and facilities are always limited to just one private group of a maximum of twelve people at a time.
Included in the experience are private butlers, an internationally trained collection of chefs, unlimited diving with a PADI diving instructor, spa therapists, a yacht and speedboat with captain and crew at your “beck and call”. One island rental rate covers everything you could possibly wish for to ensure yours is truly unlimited and the experience you deserve.

Location
The local island name is ‘Maafushi’, loosely translating as ‘small island’ and is found in the Faafu Atoll in the Republic of Maldives. It is reached by a 35 minutes scenic seaplane flight from the International Malé Airport (included in rate).
The island is only 700 m long and 500 m wide, so it takes about eight minutes to walk around it.

The Rania Suite, made up of the master bedroom, two guest rooms and reception/living room, all surrounding the plunge pool and sundeck and styled simply in a classic contemporary fashion to compliment the surroundings.
Just a stone's throw away and hidden in the gardens are the three individual villas, which blend perfectly amongst the garden foliage to offer shade and privacy as well as direct access to the beach and ocean on your doorstep.
You also have your very own private bar deck with sweeping views looking out to sea for you and your guests to spend a lazy afternoon counting clouds or watching dolphins at play.
At Sea
Your yacht, the ‘Rania’, is a majestic 86-foot Gulf Craft luxury speed cruiser that is stylishly appointed in rich fabrics and polished woods. She is fitted with the most advanced operational and satellite navigational systems on the market and has a large lounge area with fully integrated entertainment equipment, family style dining area both in the cabin and on deck. There are two spacious double bedrooms and one twin cabin – all naturally have en suite facilities and there is also a wonderful outdoor whirlpool bath on the bridge for you to enjoy while on board.

Our executive chef and his internationally trained team offer you both a varied and eclectic collection of cuisine styles to choose from. Menus are lovingly created to suit your personal preferences all influenced by the rich flavours and colours found throughout Asia.
Our wines have been hand picked by our wine steward to compliment the style of the executive chef's cooking and offers you a variety of traditional vintages as well as fine Champagnes and New World wines to drink on their own or with the meal of your choice, whether that be breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Our spa is a tranquil haven for the senses. The treatments use the many principles of holistic health maintenance, alongside herbal and beauty treatments to revive body and mind. Stretch out either in the spa, in a pavilion or at the water's edge and let the therapists wash away the stress of the outside world.
Guests can enjoy a wide array of Thai and Ayurvedic treatments along with pampering body wraps and scrubs, facials, manicures and pedicures.
Best time to travel
The dry season stretches between December and April, with the time between May and November being warm but with more chance of rain.
The transition months of November and April are renowned to have increased water clarity and better visibility for divers.
Getting there
On landing at Malé International Airport, you will be met at your private jet or international flight by one of your private butlers and escorted to the VIP lounge at Maldivian Air Taxi Ltd to freshen up and await your private seaplane (15-18 DeHavilland Twin Otter Sea Plane) to your island. The journey will take no longer than 35 minutes and is truly an experience in itself, as you will be flying over some of the most beautiful scenery found on the planet.
