This holiday apartment in the centre of Halifax offers the opportunity to explore and get to know Nova Scotia’s capital city and surrounding area from a practical and relaxing accommodation. It is an excellent alternative to a hotel. For one, guests take advantage of the fact that there are no check-in nor check-out times to adhere to. Furthermore, a parking space is available to guests free of charge.

The apartment costs CAD 130 excl. 13% taxes per night (minimum stay 2 nights).
The key to the apartment, as well as directions to it, will be supplied by us.

Location
The Harbour House can be found in a central location near the harbour and offers an impressive view of the water.
Accommodation
The apartment comes with a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, furnished living room with telephone, TV, internet access and hi-fi equipment, bathroom and bedroom with double bed and is perfectly suited for 2 people. An underground parking space is available at no extra cost. The apartment is cleaned before and after each stay. The use of the washing machine and dryer is also granted.
Dining
Self-catering. A fully-equipped eat-in kitchen is available. Restaurants and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Prepare your own breakfast or visit the popular Café Perkes (4 minutes walk away).
Activities & Day Trips
In the city centre are art galleries, museums, historical sights and churches, shops, sidewalk cafés and attractive nightclubs. Lively pubs and livelier entertainment as well as a nightlife that doesn't stop, spectacular shows, first class sporting events, riveting live theatre on both sides of the harbour, scrumptious dining and non-stop fun are the ticket to an exhiliarating Halifax experience. The use of the building’s own swimming pool, sauna and gym on the ground floor is available to guests at no extra cost.
If you seek peaceful nature scenes, head out of the downtown for nearby communities offering hiking, camping, and bird watching. Let yourself be romanced by the sea. The Atlantic coastline, beaches and picturesque coastal towns are close by. Take a day trip to the Kejimkujik National Park or to the Bay of Fundy, where the largest tides in the world can be witnessed. Whales can also be observed by boat here. Drive along the “Lighthouse Route” along the south coast of Halifax to Yarmouth and visit Peggys Cove with its historical lighthouse at Peggys Point.
Best time to travel
All seasons offer their charm in Nova Scotia. The highest temperatures are approx. 32 °C (air) and 23 °C (water) during the months of July and August – ideal conditions for swimming, water sports, hiking and fishing.
How to get there
Nova Scotia can be reached quicker than one would imagine – in an only 6 ½ hour flight with direct non-stop connections from Europe to Halifax.
