Despite the worldwide recession, Vladi Private Islands has experienced an enormous success at the end of the fiscal year 2009/2010, having sold many quality islands around the world.
These highlights include:
The sale of Sanda Island in Scotland to a long-standing client of Vladi Private Islands.
We have also sold one of the most remarkable islands of the Federal Republic of Germany, "Der Tollow" in the Baltic Sea, where rumour has it that treasure is hidden on the island.
The fiscal year began with the sale of White Island in Grenada and exclusive negotiations with a Canadian NPO (non-profit organization) regarding East Canada’s largest privately-owned island, Mouton Island.
In addition, we have sold islands in Sweden, i.e. Stora Alören, just one hour north of Stockholm.
We have also sold an “almost island” in Eleuthera, Bahamas to a famous singer.
Among other islands in the Exumas, islands and properties in New Zealand, Australia and Italy have also been sold, reaching a turnover of more than 100 million dollars.
Altogether, we have sold 100,000,000 square metres of valuable forestland with many private lakes and 25 islands in the Atlantic provinces of Canada in 2009/2010.
Galloo Island - one of the 5 largest private islands in the United States - sold to a wind farm operation.

We would like to thank our clients for their confidence in Vladi Private Islands and our team of almost 50 colleagues in our three offices for their fabulous work and dedication.
Again, VPI can confirm that our success cannot be measured by the amount of islands on our website. The internet is helpful but much more important for us is the interaction with our existing clients, which is the strength of our company. 95% of our clients approach us through word-of-mouth and personal recommendations. This is an asset which the company has built up over its 40 years existence.
