Three Private Islands with Log House in Lake Saimaa
Location:
These 3 private islands are located in Lake Saimaa, which has a total size of more than 4.400 km². Lake Saimaa is a very popular holiday area, offering various leisure time activities, in particular for windsurfers, sailors, anglers and hunters, but also for seaplane pilots. You can reach the islands via the cities of Imatra or Savonlinna, which are approx. 60-70 km away. When taking a boat, you can even reach the mooring place directly via the Baltic Sea. The present owner uses a seaplane. In winter, it is possible to drive the car on the frozen lake.
Description: The island group consists of three islands differing in size and facilities. Each island has a house in the Scandinavian log house style. All houses have a sauna and an oven. The largest island is more than 2,5 acres, the other two islands are 1,7 acres and 0,7 acres respectively, so that the total size of the 3 islands amounts to approx. 4.9 acres.
A new house is located on the island of 1,7 acres, which can be lived in all year round. In the basement, there are 3 rooms and a modern kitchen, and there is a bedroom on the first floor, making a total 100m² of living area. You can enjoy a nice breakfast in the sunshine on the 50m² terrace. Additionally, the house has a television, telephone and a 3000 W diesel aggregate, as well as solar cells (12 V).
There is an approx. 30 year old log house on the smallest island (0,7 acres). The living area amounts to 60m², divided into kitchen and 3 living rooms. From the balcony, you have a wonderful view to the Lake Saimaa.
On the largest island, the house was built around 1970. The living area is divided into 2 living rooms. Here, you can enjoy views onto the lake from the balcony as well.
Two sailing boats and two rowing boats are included in the purchase price. Electricity and road on site.
