Forty years of selling islands: In 1971, Farhad Vladi and René Boehm sold their first island. With that, the company Boehm & Vladi was incorporated and remained active until 1985. Subsequently, Vladi Private Islands GmbH (Ltd.) was incorporated by Farhad Vladi as sole shareholder and began to sell and rent private islands from 1985 and continues to do so today.
Vladi Private Islands has three offices worldwide: Hamburg, Germany - Halifax, Canada and Wellington, New Zealand.
This slide show presents an overview of the most remarkable islands sold in this time period of almost 40 years. The islands, which were sold as a joint venture with René Boehm, have been marked (1971 - 1985). These very special private islands conjure up good memories of their vendors, buyers and of the islands themselves. Vladi Private Islands has team of almost 50 colleagues from all age groups. Each team member has a very different and specific expertise, which adds to the efficiency and competence of our company.
When we say “selling”, we mean “successfully selling”, i.e. listing the island, marketing the property, speaking to clients, visiting clients, accompanying clients during island inspections and assisting with the actual sale process.
In many cases, we have also received the management of the island or island-related property and our management company is proud to say that we are now managing over 800 properties for our clients. This management is important to Vladi Private Islands as it keeps us in constant close contact with the client, which is always the basis for the next sale.
A New York journalist recently called us about our slideshow and was very impressed. He has asked us what we believe to be the reason for our sales success. There is only one reason: We work very closely with our clients and benefit from word-of-mouth propaganda outside of the sometimes stressful internet market.
The loyal atmosphere between our clients and ourselves has provided us with much strength during the almost 40 years of island activities in Vladi Private Islands.
