Midtøy

Midtøy is a beautiful private island located along Norway’s wild, western coast, just outside of Herdla (Askøy).

Boasting a wonderful 162 m² cottage, a 54 m² boathouse and 34,400 m² of agricultural land, the island offers potential as a residence, holiday home or even a small farm. A combination of the three would also be possible.

Between 2018 and 2020 substantial renovation works were carried out to both the property’s interior and exterior. Whilst there is still plenty of room to place your own stamp on the island’s unique residence, the foundations have already been laid and much of the hardest work already completed (including but not limited to new wiring, new insulation, new windows, new water and drainpipes etc).

Access is extremely straight forward: the town of Herdla is just 10 minutes away via boat and the international airport at Bergen is within approx. 40 minutes’ driving distance.
