Partridge Island

Partridge Island has a beautiful white sandy beach at its southern end – a rarity for a lake island. The island is covered with a mixed forest vegetation with a population of sturdy trees a hundred years old. The beautiful forest is a pleasure to explore and provides privacy. Public roads afford easy access to Big Mushamush Lake.

The island is only one and a half hours by car from Halifax and its international airport. The port town of Lunenburg can be reached in half an hour, the town of Bridgewater in 15 minutes. The region around nearby Chester and its surroundings is very popular and achieves the highest real estate prices in Nova Scotia, even higher than in Halifax. Spring-fed Big Mushamush Lake is perfect for swimming in the summer.

The crystal-clear lake is very popular among the locals and is a social meeting point during summer. Build your dream house on this perfect island.
