This Cay is set in one of the most beautiful areas of the Bahamas, the North Bight of Andros. Imagine a sea of turquoise waters as far as the eye can see. Views of small islands sprinkled on the horizon, faint lights of Mangrove Cay in the evening and a cool ocean breeze coupled with complete privacy provides the setting of this private island. It is surrounded by miles of bonefishing waters, and you can even fish off the island!
The island was developed with a cottage and in 1934 the owner at the time created pathways around the island that still exist today. There was also a landscaped area around the home but this is now overgrown.
The natural features of the island include 10 ft. elevations, three small beaches, traditional island vegetation and the remnants of an old stone dock. Water depths of about three ft. for many miles around are ideal for speed boat access.
