Paradise Found! Potential resort or private retreat off the coast of Belize

As a development project, a great amount of work has already been completed. Approximately 27 acres of sandy beachfront includes a variety of structures and surveyed lots. Water Caye boasts the largest palapa structure in Belize with a center bar and built-in seating. An equally impressive eating area with picnic tables provides ample space for large groups. Currently, the island can accommodate 18 guests throughout several buildings including a darling two bedroom house, an over the water bungalow, and caretakers cottage. Power up using two 20kw generators and a 60ft tall windmill tower. Never run out of water with a 20,000 gallon holding tank with reverse osmosis system.

Being near the English Caye Channel currently used by cruise ships, Water Caye is an ideal location for large vessels to dock for the day. The leeward side has had an extensive Cruise Pier Concept designed and engineered, including a dredge template, cruise ship pier, paved and fill area, and a new road to the front of the island. The concept shows space for 2 Genesis Class vessels, the largest passenger ships built for Royal Caribbean, to visit simultaneously.

Let your imagination run wild, or check out the resort plans created by Epikos Land Planning & Architecture. Renderings include a proposed airstrip, golf course, 3 hotels, a marina, tennis club, commercial village, single family building lots and more!

Water Caye is located within International waters, 11 miles southeast of Belize City, Belize. The Barrier Reef, the largest in the western hemisphere, is about 1.5 miles east of the island. The crystal clear waters provide a large variety of marine life, ideal for snorkeling, diving, fishing and boating excursions.
