Charming Lake Island with Log Cabin and Sauna

Paskosaari can be found tucked away in the north-westerly corner of Lake Suvasvesi, a peaceful, pristine body of water (the third deepest lake in Finland). The island is located just 48 km away from the urban area of Kuopio, a lakeland harbour town with its own regional airport.

The northern part of the island – blueberry and lingonberry bushes, lichens, moss and small trees - is characterized by its rugged coastline and five meter high cliffs, whereas the southern half of the island is low-lying and covered with tall pine trees.

The island also forms home to a log cabin and separate sauna as well as a utility / storage building and a woodshed. Located approx. 500 meters away from the nearest fishing harbour, the island furthermore includes its own mainland lot, which contains a parking space and a small building to store your boating equipment.
