Måsøya

Norway | Europe: Atlantic

The island of Måsøya is a rare jewel on west coast of Norway, close to Trondheim. Located in the middle of the archipelago, it is truly idyllic and an attractive area for diving, fishing and other water sports.

Up until 1952 this island was inhabited all year round and was completely self-sufficient. Since then, it has been used as a vacation home. On the property of approx. 26.5 hectares, in a protected location, there is a spacious well-kept vacation house with two floors, a large boathouse and a smaller boathouse on the beach. The cottage offers 5 bedrooms with ample space for one or more families. Mooring a boat is facilitated by a private pier.

The island is green and rocky, typical for Norway. A special highlight is a small beach with fine sand and shallow water, which invites you to swim on warm weather days.
