Charming Lake House in Östergötland

When passing the gate to the 608 m² Torsåkra Torsund property at Lake Åsunden, an oasis of tranquility welcomes you.

The villa built in 1931 has mantained its charm throughout the decades. Many details have been beautifully preserved such as windows with handblown glass, an old but functioning fire stove in the kitchen, one fireplace in the living room and hard wood floors in most rooms.

The house with its southwesterly orientation is positioned right in front of the lake. This guarantees sunshine the moment the sun rises until it disappears in the lake.

The groundfloor of the building consists of an entry area, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen as well as a bathroom with a shower.

Two bedrooms are located on the first floor. From one of the bedrooms a door opens up to a balcony which offers a breathtaking view over Lake Åsunden.

A sewage system was installed in 2012. Heating is provided by a heating pump, two fire places and an electric heating system.

Two additional cabins for storing a boat or gardening tools and a jetty round up this magnificent property.

Due to the fact that the property is surrounded by protected cultural heritage land, no additional construction is allowed.
