Great chance for investors: stunning bay in Fiji for sale

Fiji’s best tourism and residential development site is now looking for potential investors. The area is strategically situated 15 kilometres or 20 minutes’ drive from Nadi International Airport which is the gateway to Fiji’s tourism heart. There are a variety of suggested development layouts available which include hotels and resorts, marina developments, and residential sites.

The development sits on a peninsula adjacent to the only white sandy beach and ‘clean’ water within the vicinity of Nadi Airport.

Saweni beach was once the base for the Sunderland flying boats and also provides a sheltered anchorage for yachts and boats. To get this type of beach on your doorstep is usually achieved by going to nearby islands or driving nearly 30 kilometres down the coast.

The hard land consists of 25 ha of 99 year state tourism lease plus a further minimum of 75 ha of state foreshore development lease land. As well as the strategic location of the development, one of the key characteristics is approximately 3.5 kilometres of foreshore frontage which comprises of pristine coral reef edge, protective mangroves and deep, clear blue water.

Fiji visitor numbers have been increasing over the years from 342,067 in 2001 to 652,502 in 2012. While the majority are from New Zealand and Australia, there is increasing growth from countries such as China. Room profit levels are increasing and you have to book well in advance for peak seasons.

This has put pressure on existing resorts and area’s such as Denerau. With elections coming up in September 2014, visitor arrivals are likely to increase requiring new hotels, residential developments and related facilities.
The Fiji government is very supportive of new tourism developments and there are a number of incentives available to assist new investors into Fiji.

Now is the time to get into Fiji and secure your investment.

The owner would sell the whole development at around FJD 5.500.000 but also take on partial investors for 20%, 50% etc.
