The best of these accommodation options is without a doubt the four bedroom villa suite – a 7,500 square foot palace, perched atop a peninsula. Offering awe-inspiring ocean views taking in four acres of pristine coral coastline, it’s worth checking into The Cove for the vistas alone. Capable of hosting up to 8 guests across four tastefully appointed bedrooms (each with en-suite), this exquisite island home boasts three private coves as well as a heated, freshwater pool – simply divine.

Dining

Combining international flavours with Caribbean pizazz, the delicious meals here are sure to have you coming back for more. The torch-lit beachside banquets are a particular highlight, and are accompanied by the local “rake and scrape” bands – an unforgettable evening that you simply have to experience first-hand. Furthermore, guests also have the chance to opt in on the Guest of House dining experience, tayloring your mealtimes to match your personal preferences. With all meals, house wines and other alcoholic drinks included in the price, the Guest of House Experience is the perfect package for those who really want to let loose during their island holiday. Blessed with silky white sands, crystalline waters and a colourful marine life, scuba diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing are all par for the course. Meanwhile, the romantics amongst you will swoon at the thought of intimate coves and beachside picnics for two, whilst the prospect of a sunset cruise is guaranteed to melt even the stoniest of hearts. Unwind on the water’s edge with a cocktail or two, unlock your inner intrepid explorer and cut a path through the island’s dense mangrove jungle or dive head first into one of the region’s famous blue holes to really get your pulse racing. Best Time To Travel
The Andros Islands – and indeed Kamalame Cay – are blessed with temperate conditions all year round, with temperatures peaking around 31 degrees during the summer months and dropping to the low twenties during the windy winter months. Whilst the summer months are characterized by long days, comfortable nights and refreshing afternoon showers, the winter brings with it a northerly wind which can make for choppy sailing conditions.

How To Get There
Despite its close proximity from the likes of New York, Toronto and Miami, Kamalame Cay is positively worlds away from everyday life. International guests are advised to fly into either Florida’s Fort Lauderdale airport or the Bahaman capital of Nassau, from where it is possible to book either a scheduled or charter flight for the short journey over to Andros Town. Located only a stone’s throw from Andros Town, connections to Kamalame are made using either the island’s own private ferry or seaplane, ensuring the all the exclusivity you crave.
