A desert island dream with views of Bora Bora

With its pristine palms, sensational setting and breath-taking beaches, Motu Haapiti Rahi is a private island straight out of the picture-book. Located in the famous Bora Bora lagoon, in the shadows of Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, this tiny, two-and-a-half acre motu is every inch the desert island dream.

Fringed by soft, sandy beaches, the island is the perfect place to unwind and take in the magnificent scenery of one of Mother Nature’s finest creations. Powder-white sand gives way to crystalline waters, coral gardens and the iconic silhouette of Otemanu – a picturesque panorama of which you’ll never tire.

Beyond its beaches, Motu Haapiti Rahi is characterized by its lush tropical landscape – a feast for the senses, with fragrant hibiscus, flourishing vegetation and towering palm trees. The island also boasts easy boat access, a technical facility and two houses.

Whilst considerable repairs and renovation work are needed, the two houses nevertheless form a great basis for luxurious island living. The main house comprises almost 2000 sq. ft. and is spread over two modules which are linked by means of a large open decking area and a roofed Fare Pote.

Once restored to its former glory, the main house would easily host a living area with two rooms, an open kitchen, a mezzanine, a shower room and a master bedroom, whereas the second house (approx. 1,000 sq. ft.) would host two bedrooms, a living area with open kitchen, a mezzanine, a bathroom and a decking area.
