Think unique: a secluded luxury resort on the island of Bali set amidst acres of lush tropical greenery. Add forests and rice fields wrapped in mountain mists, and lovingly-landscaped gardens and water gardens. Then picture five residences, each one specially designed to represent different cultures of Indonesia. And also seven beautiful private villas. And, of course, include all the pleasures of a world-class hotel. Finally, feel yourself embraced, surrounded by a peace so profound that you know you will return often. Now, be still, and know that you have discovered COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri.

Accommodation
COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri was developed as a group of private residences, each with its own distinct architectural characteristics and unique furnishings. This individuality means the estate offers a personal and private atmosphere, but with the facilities and services of a deluxe resort. Each residence consists of four- or five-bedroom suites, pool, living and dining pavilion. Guests can reserve either individual suites or an entire residence. In order to anticipate our guests' needs and provide them every amenity and comfort, meeting the highest standards of luxury and style, each residence is equipped with: personal butler, a staff-to-guest ratio of 5 to 1, study/library, private pool, separate kitchen and laundry facilities, large open-air verandas, uninterrupted views of tropical gardens and rice fields, king- and queen-size beds, dining and living pavilion, private jacuzzi and outdoor shower (master suite only), personal IDD telephones.
Dining
Simplicity is at the heart of Begawan Giri. The cuisine that is created by chef David King is New World with Indonesian accents, prepared simply and authentically, using the freshest ingredients drawn from the land. To ensure that COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri remains self-contained, poultry, fish and prawn farms were established on the grounds, as were vegetable gardens, tropical fruit trees and flower nurseries.
