Rates
(depending on seasons and booked accomodation):
from USD 600 to 1,900 per night/per bungalow/villa.

Location
The island of Kuda Huraa is in the North Malé Atoll of the Maldives. The Resort is 25 minutes by speedboat from the Malé International Airport on the island of Hulhule.

Accommodation
Bungalows
Cosy and comfortably appointed Beach Bungalows feature a private deck with views of the surrounding vegetation and each offers either a king-size bed or two single beds. Beach Bungalows with Pool offer more expansive outdoor living spaces with the luxury of a private plunge pool and an outdoor shower. Water Bungalows include a spacious bedroom and sitting area, a secluded veranda for sunbathing and steps down to the clear water of the lagoon.

Villas
Navaranna Water Villas offer a separate living room, bedroom and two full bathrooms. These villas feature a furnished veranda with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, steps down into the water and a private outdoor shower. The exceptionally large Kuda Huraa Beach Villa includes a luxuriously appointed living room, two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and dressing area, and a spacious wooden deck with a private plunge pool.

Four Seasons Explorer Cabins
In addition to enjoying the island, adventurers can explore the untouched reaches of these exotic atolls aboard the resort's new 39 metres/128 feet Island Explorer Catamaran by selecting from three, four and seven day cruise options. These cruises allow avid divers, water enthusiasts, nature lovers and 21st century explorers to discover remote shores and rarely visited diving/snorkeling sites enjoying the same service, comfort and style offered on Kuda Huraa Island.

Cabins on the Four Seasons Explorer catamaran are bright and airy. All cabins are air-conditioned and include a full en suite bathroom. State Rooms feature two twin beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed, while the elegant Explorer Suite offers a king-size bed, a living area with day bed and couch, and an indoor dining area.

Dining
An elegant dinner at Baraabaru is a memorable affair. Guests may choose to dine in the warmly-lit main pavilion or on the deck at the lagoon's edge, under the shimmering stars. The open kitchen features a tandoori oven, where guests can watch as the chefs prepare exotic regional cuisine. The food is complemented by a wine list chosen to suit the tropics with an emphasis on good light wines and champagne. Service is by dedicated staff who care about making every nuance of the evening just right.

Activities
Diving, surfing, excursions, hi-flyer, fishing, sailing.

Best time to travel
If you are looking for a few extra hours of sunshine, then you should visit the Maldives between December and April, which is the dry season. It is still warm between May and November, but skies can be cloudy, humidity is higher and rain is more likely. The transition months of November and April are said to be associated with increased water clarity and better visibility for divers.

Getting there
There are regular flights, as well as many charter flights from European centres. Malé International Airport is the only international gateway; departure tax is USD 10. The 25-minute airport transfer to Kuda Huraa is by speedboat.
