Location
Just 5 minutes away from Praslin's airstrip, The Lemuria Resort enjoys an idyllic location on the northwest coast of the island. Surrounded by luxuriant and rare vegetation, washed by the warm waters of the calm lagoon, the hotel lies sheltered from the hinterland. Two secluded beaches with white sand, Anse Kerlan and Anse Georgette, have created a truly exceptional site.

Accommodation
88 Junior and Senior Suites, all oriented towards the Indian Ocean, spreading over 101 hectares (148 acres) of land. All suites have bathroom, shower, WC, air-conditioning, balcony/terrace, hairdryer, mini-bar, safe, TV, DVD, stereo compact disc and cassette player, telephone, and answering machine. The Senior Suites are twice as big as the Junior Suites (115 sqm) and have a separate living room, bath with jacuzzi, as well as a guest WC/shower. There are 8 new Pool Villas (725 sqm), each with 2 bedrooms, lounge and private pool, a Master Villa, and a Presidential Villa (1250 sqm) with three bedrooms, dining room, office and private pool, all of which are on three levels.

Dining
The Lemuria boasts three à la carte restaurants, one offering Mediterranean food, another specialising in seafood, and a third in international food. The hotel has 4 bars (in the salon, at the pool, on the beach and in the club house).

Activities
Sailing, windsurfing, pedalos, snorkelling, two tennis courts and a fully-equipped gym are included. At an extra charge, non-motorised water sports such as diving and deep-sea fishing, cycling, and golf on the championship 18-hole golf course.

Best time to travel
The climate is pleasant and mild throughout the year. Temperatures range from 24° to 33° C and are not subject to sharp variations. The wettest month is January and the driest is July.

Getting there
Many airlines are flying to the Seychelles. Air Seychelles runs on a half-hourly basis connecting flights (20 minutes) to Praslin. There is a USD 20 departure tax.
