Location

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is the sole resort on Félicité Island, a breath-taking private retreat close to the famous beaches of La Digue. The island is encircled by Grande Soeur, Petite Soeur, Coco and Marianne and offers the ultimate island-hopping experience.

Accommodation

Nested discreetly in the tropical forest are 28 single-bedroom villas, two two-bedroom villas and a handful of hyper-luxurious, 007-style private residences (capped at 17 in total). The villas range in size from 2,150 square feet (200 square meters) to 5,380 square feet (500 square meters, whereas the residences are even larger still.

Every villa offers seclusion embraced by tropical vegetation and spacious surroundings, unsurpassed vistas of the ocean, a private infinity-edge pool and its own GEM (Guest Experience Maker) butler service. Contact a member of the Vladi Island Travel team for further details.

Dining

Enjoy a delicious fusion of European, Asian and African fare at one of the island’s bars and restaurants or indulge in a more intimate private dining affair at the Chef’s Kitchen. Oenophiles should make a point of visiting the Wine Bar whereas those who prefer to indulge in the stronger stuff should head to Lakanbiz, a treasure-trove of infused rums, punch and cigars.

Activities

Each villa is assigned a Guest Experience Maker who helps craft your itinerary while electric buggies ferry you to and from your villa to the Grand Kaz (Main House), Fitness and Water Sport Centre. There’s also a spectacularly sited spa, which deploys biometric technology and is moulded around centuries old granite inselbergs literally grounding wellness acolytes in the island’s earthy embrace.

You can enjoy some of it on hiking trails with island ecologist Steve Hill. He’s been engaged in rehabilitating the island’s endemic flora and fauna for the past nine years and has been instrumental in eradicating invasive species and planting three valleys of tropical fruit trees. There are also long-term plans to reintroduce the native giant tortoise and the island’s Grand Anse beach is already a nesting site for hawksbill sea turtles.

Best Time to Travel

The Seychelles is a great all-year-round destination, with temperatures of around 25° to 35° C throughout the year. With sunshine all but guaranteed, you’re free to pick a time to travel based on your own personal preferences: windsurfing and sailing conditions are at their best around May and October and diving conditions are ideal between March and May and September to November.

How to Get There

The resort is set on the north side of Félicité Island La Digue and Praslin. It is a short hop from Praslin or La Digue via speedboat or, for the more adventurous, via helicopter from Mahé. Please contact a member of the Vladi Islands Travel team to organize flights and private transfers.
