Situated on Zanzibar’s unspoiled south-eastern coast, stretching along Bwejuu, one of the world’s best beaches, the Baraza Resort and Spa can be found tucked away atop a 240 meter stretch of some of the softest white sand known to man. Activities
A veritable diver’s paradise, the crystal clean waters of south-eastern Zanzibar await your exploration. Home to delicate coral reefs and a vast array of colorful marine life, enroll at the award-winning Rising Sun Dive Center and discover a whole new world. Rising Sun Dive Center is a RAID and PADI family-owned business that has been operating in Zanzibar for over 20 years. It is one of the few operators in this particular area and has access to pristine dive sites as close as 15 to 25 minutes boat ride away - all dive sites are only accessible by boat. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned pro, thanks to their years of experience in the region, the instructors at the Rising Sun are capable of finding the perfect site for you – whatever your ability.

But there is much more for the activity lover. The Other wet and wild activities available are windsurfing, Kite-surfing, kayak, SUP, sailing, snorkeling safari by boat, bikes, indoor gym, beach activities and games. If unbridled relaxation is more your cup of tea, the resort’s spa is guaranteed to appeal. Best Time To Travel
Boasting up to 300 days of sunshine per year, Zanzibar is ideal for a relaxing beach holiday with a difference. With hour after hour of golden sunshine and temperatures which regularly soar beyond 30° C, guests are recommended to time their vacation wisely. Whilst the gentle ocean breeze offers a welcome respite throughout the hot season (November to March), some travelers may prefer to plan their stay during the cooler months of June to October, where temperatures average around 25° C.

How To Get There
Most major carriers offer regular services directly to Abeid Amani Karume, Zanzibar´s international airport. Otherwise there are easy connections to Tanzania´s Dar es Salaam international Airport. Alternatively the likes of Mombasa, Nairobi, Kilimanjaro and various other East African airports offer both charter and standard flights connecting you to your final destination. From Zanzibar airport Baraza Resort is a mere 60 minutes’ journey om tarmac road across the Zanzibar countryside.
