Location
Laucala is located to the north east of Taveuni, Fiji's third largest island. The resort is accessed exclusively via private jet, with a 50 minute flight from Nadi Airport all that separates guests from this incredible island.
Accommodation
With your privacy in mind, the spacious residences can accommodate between two to six guests in 1 to 3 bedrooms. All 25 bures (the Fijian name for house) are individually made out of Fijian materials combined with exclusively designed interiors. Each residence has its own charm, boasting a unique character and simply incomparable views. All bures extend over generously sized outdoor living areas, taking in private pools, pavillions, sun terraces, day beds and luxurious lounge areas. Perfect for unwinding, stunning stone bathtubs can be found both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor shower blends beautifully into the natural surroundings, where wonderous walkways snake down to private coves and soft stretches of powder white sand.
Dining
Making use of an appetizing array of exotic fruit and vegetables sourced from the island's own gardens, each of Laucala's bars and restaurants promises a taste of the Pacific. Fijian flair runs through the heart of the island's incredible cuisine, whereas an attentive service ensures that any individual wishes are taken care of.
Decorated in keeping with the region's typical colonial style, meals are served with aplomb within a reconstructed plantation house, which these days forms home to a cultivated restaurant. Oenophiles will enjoy a visit to Laucala's wonderful wine cellar, filled with an impressive selection of fine wines lovingly sourced from both the old and the new world.

The broad array of activities on Laucala is enough to make your dreams come true: horseriding, game fishing, golf, tennis, yoga and beach-combing, Laucala has it all. So whether you're looking to while away the hours on the beach or indulge in some adrenalin pumping activities, you'll never be short of things to do on this exotic island.
At the heart of the resort, guests will find a delightful lagoon with a soft, sandy base. Littered with tiny islands for sun-bathing, you'll have no problem finding your very own oasis of tranquility here. Within the resort building, the activity center is home to any number of comfortable corners, perfect for curling up with a book or playing a game of backgammon. Also home to a fully equipped fitness studio, there's no need to disrupt your daily sport regime.
The spa is the natural showplace of Laucala’s spirit. The four spa suites in the treatment villa provide a changing room, treatment room with open entrance into the relaxation lounge presented with a day bed and open fire place. Offering Vichy shower, bucket showers and private steam following the spa philosophy of healing through water. After your spa experience you can relax on your sun deck. In the spa garden you can explore and learn about Fiji’s finest tropical flowers, herbs, spices and fruits. You may even create your own essential oil distillery with your pickings from the spa garden.

Best Time To Travel
Fiji boasts a tropical climate all year round, with temperatures constantly hovering between 22° and 31° C. The region suffers heavy rain between December and March, with guests advised to book between April and November to make the most of the weather. For the best diving conditions, book between May and September for less wind and near perfect visibility.
How To Get There
Upon arriving at Fiji's International Airport in Nadi, guests will be transported directly to Laucala Island via private jet. The journey lasts approximately 50 minutes, affording travellers with just enough time to take in the spectacular surroundings before enjoying a traditional greeting on the island. Accompanied by the sweet scent of the mango groves, guests will then make their way by car to their residence of choice.
