Location
Toberua Private Island is located in the Lomaiviti Group, east of Viti Levu, the largest of the Fiji Islands.

Accommodation
Toberua Island Resort is home to a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom villa and 15 ocean-front bures – traditional wooden cottages handcrafted using indigenous materials such as bamboo. Spacious, with a thatched roof and a large covered deck, Toberua’s beautiful bures are capable of housing a maximum of three adults or two adults and three children. Perfect for either family vacations or a romantic break for two, the accommodation on this popular private island includes a daily maid service, an evening turn-down service, morning and afternoon tea and more. Combining contemporary style with Fijian tradition, the impressive residences on Toberua are tucked away on the water’s edge, ensuring you’re never more than a matter of minutes from the depths of the tranquil, turquoise ocean.

Dining
Whether served in the exclusive restaurant or outdoors beneath starry skies, Toberua’s tantalizing treats are sure to form a highlight of your island holiday. Inspired by island life and seasoned with local and international flavours, the mouthwatering menus feature everything from New Zealand lamb and freshly caught fish to locally grown fruit and a whole array of delicious desserts. The weekly barbecue buffet forms a particular highlight and guarantees you won’t go hungry!

Activities
Choose from a range of relaxing massage treatments at Toberua’s spa bure and place your well-being in the hands (literally!) of Toberua’s professional therapists. Using the very best of the regionally produced Pure Fiji products, this indulgent experience places the cherry very much on top of an already relaxing island vacation. Alternatively, get active and explore the region’s most colourful diving spots or take to the beach for the most memorable game of golf you’ll ever play. Beware though, the nine hole par three is only playable during low tide!

How to Get There
Fiji Airways offers regular flights to Fiji’s International Airport in Nadi. With connections from the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, this route often provides the most convenient option for Fiji travel. Upon arrival in Nadi, it is possible to take a 30 minute flight across to Nausori, just to the east of Viti Levu. A 10 minute vehicle transfer and 30 minute scenic boat ride taking in the beauty of the Navaloa River and the Bau Waters completes the journey, ensuring that you arrive at your island destination in style.

Best Time to Travel
Home to a mild tropical climate, the incredible islands of Fiji can be enjoyed all year round, creating a popular escape for holiday-goers from both the northern and southern hemisphere. The months of May to October promise a less rainfall and a refreshing breeze, cutting through the humidity and providing a much welcomed respite from the relentless heat.
