Location
If you’re looking to rent an island far off the beaten track, then Ariara Island is the one for you. This exclusive island is located amongst the Philippines, surrounded by nothing but deep, blue waters and distant islands. This luxury getaway is positioned a practical 160 miles away from Manila and requires only a 4-hour flight from Hong Kong. Hidden in an unexplored area of the Far East and yet so accessible, there’s really no reason not to discover this amazing private island.

Accommodation
The exquisite accommodation on Ariara Island was designed exclusively by the celebrated Filipino architect Jorge Yulo. Striving to create a harmonious balance of contemporary design and ecological sensitivity, Yulo constructed a range of unique living quarters with the needs of even the most discerning traveller in mind. Consisting of cosy beach cottages, exotic jungle villas (on stilts!) and a decadent lodge house, the young Filipino designer certainly excelled himself with the Ariara project. Capable of housing 18 guests, you’re guaranteed a good nights sleep in one of the many bedrooms here. Boasting extravagant vaulted ceilings, four-poster beds and incredible marble bathrooms, we’re certain that you’ll soon feel at home here. For a true touch of nature, the Jungle Villas even include a decadent Romblon Marble bath with views of the wild, tropical undergrowth beyond. With accommodation fit for a king, it’s no wonder that this private island is generating such a buzz. The pièce de résistance of Ariara Island has to be the huge lodge house. Located at the heart of the island and connected to the crystalline waters of the sea via a 120 m pier, the lodge is the entertainment hub of this luxury island. This substantial property consists of two separate wings. The North serves as a grand dining hall with huge glass doors providing refreshing breezes and impressive panoramas, whereas the South Wing is designed with comfort in mind, consisting of a large lounge area, which eventually leads to the fabulous infinity pool.

Dining
Under the instruction of Swiss chef extraordinaire Jacqueline Haessig Alleje and resident chef Jonnel Sotto, you will be served a tempting selection of the finest Euro-Asian cuisine. Under the motto “Green Gourmet” our chefs and buyers strive to present you with the freshest, most nutritious ingredients the island has to offer whilst simultaneously ensuring that the food was harvested in a sustainable manner. With delicious dishes ranging from seafood, exotic fruits, the finest cuts of meat and even the famous “Lechon” – a spit-roasted pig – we’re sure will have your palate singing for joy.

Taking every precaution to meet your individual needs, you will also be contacted by a member staff for a pre-arrival meal plan consultation.
This step is taken with you in mind – a personal menu will be created based on both your own preferences and the advice of our expert chefs.
Naturally, the wine cellar will also be freshly stocked to ensure that the perfect accompaniment to your meal is always at hand. To truly make the most of your mouth-watering meal, enjoy dinner in either extravagant lodge or for a more relaxed setting, try one of the terraces and enjoy a romantic sunset with the ones you love.
