Located just minutes away from the world famous holiday islands of Mustique and Bequia, Baliceaux Island is a tropical paradise with huge potential for touristic development. Whilst the island has so far stood in the shadow of its famous neighbors – long-since favourites of the British Royal Family and the international jet set – it’s high time that the so-called “Cinderella of the Grenadines” steps into the limelight and finally goes to the ball.

Boasting the perfect conditions for the creation of a first-class holiday residence, Baliceaux Island could easily enjoy a similar level of popularity as Mustique. Situated just to the south of St. Vincent & the Grenadines’ bustling capital of Kingstown (pop. 25,000), the island is perfectly poised to tap into the country’s popular tourism branch.

Discovered by Spanish sailors during the 15th Century, this sprawling, 320 acre private island has enjoyed a long and interesting history. During the Carib Wars of 1769 – 1795, Gun Hill – at almost 413 ft. above sea level the island’s highest point - served as a lookout for soldiers during the Carib Wars of 1772-1797. These days, however, the hill serves as the perfect vantage point for watching the sun set over the glittering waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Surrounded by protective reefs and crystal-clear waters, the island's landscape is characterized by pebble and sandy beaches as well as meadows, forests, hills and cliffs.
Snorkeling, fishing, hiking, swimming and sailing are just some of the many leisure activities available in the area, making Baliceaux an island with great potential for future tourism development.
