Säckilot is a completely unique island of almost 10 hectares in a stunning location in the middle of Airisto, in south-western Finland. From the second largest city Turku, the island is located about 1 hour drive by car and boat. The area is popular with sailors, fishermen and nature lovers.
There are a total of 14 guest rooms on Säckilot, spread over two guest houses. In addition, there is a larger house, which is intended for gatherings of all kinds. Next to another house there is a Finnish sauna area. The buildings were built in 2008. The island has several jetties, a total of 7 fixed piers, providing sailboats the opportunity to moor. The island has osmosis equipment to produce fresh water from seawater and offers wooden walkways between the buildings.
A second island Newamo is located very close to the left of Säckilot which is offered here. Both islands belong to the same owner and so it would be possible to also buy Newamo for EUR 1.4 million (asking price). At the moment there is a bridge connection between the two islands.
