The motus of French Polynesia are typical desert islands as one imagines them – white sand beaches, coconut palms, lagoons and clear shallow waters for snorkelling.

This 20-acre private island is situated in the coral reef in Tahaa’s lagoon. The mainland of Tahaa, also known as the Vanilla Island because it produces approximately three quarters of French Polynesia’s vanilla, is approx. 3 km from Motu Rauoro. With its airport, Bora Bora, Huahine and Raiatea are not far off either. Raiatea and Tahaa share a lagoon and regular shuttle boats run between the two islands.

Here you find magnificent white sandy beaches over 3,300 feet long – 1,400 feet facing Bora Bora, 1,200 feet facing the open ocean, 750 feet facing the hoa. You can also enjoy coconut trees, heavenly swimming, and stunning views of Bora Bora. This motu is ideal as private property or for a luxury hotel.Access: 25 minutes by boat from the airport, moorings for mega yachts.
