Private Island in Tusket Bay

Frost Island in Argyle Sound in beautiful Tusket Bay is a very unique island property. It is 68 acres in size, well-treed, has good building sites and enjoys great sunset views on the ocean side of the island. It is located only 500 m from the shore where you will find a boat ramp and wharf that is easily accessed. There are a number of locals in the area who could also provide boat access. This would be a great spot to build a very private off-grid house. The area is also perfect for kayaking and sailing.

In the past, there was a home on the island and a couple of old dug wells and springs still exist there today. Behind Frost Island to the East is a fully protected, deep anchorage. The island has the highest elevation of all the islands in Lobster Bay (of nearly 25 meters or 80 feet) providing  spectacular views of dozens of islands including a lighthouse in the distance. On quiet, windless days, you can also hear the faint baying of the sheep on nearby Gooseberry Island.
