How to Get There
Velaa Private Island is reached via Velana International Airport in Malé. From here, guests board a 45-minute luxury seaplane flight directly to the island. Private seaplane charters are available on request. Guests arriving by private jet may land at Maafaru International Airport, followed by a short luxury speedboat transfer to the resort.

Best Time to Travel
The Maldives enjoys year-round sunshine, however the most popular time to visit Velaa Private Island is during the dry season from December to April, when conditions are ideal for beach stays, yachting and watersports. These months offer lower humidity, minimal rainfall and excellent visibility.
For diving and snorkelling, the shoulder and transition months provide outstanding underwater clarity and abundant marine life, making them particularly attractive for guests focused on ocean exploration and marine encounters.
