Winters (September to March) are comfortable, with the maximum temperature rising to 28.8° C and the minimum dipping to 11.6° C. Winter is the best period for vacations in Udaipur.
Udaipur is an hour and 40 minutes by air from Delhi and Mumbai, and 45 minutes from Jaipur. The region is accessible by road as well as by rail from India's main cities.
