Nature Conservancy of Canada
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is Canada's leading national land conservation organization. A private, non-profit organization, we partner with individuals, corporations, foundations, Indigenous communities and other non-profit organizations and governments at all levels to protect our most important natural treasures — the natural areas that sustain Canada’s plants and wildlife. Established in 1980, we are committed to peace, justice and sustainability for all. Each year, we present the Right Livelihood Award. By recognising the actions of brave visionaries and building impactful connections around the world, the Award boosts urgent and long-term social change. 182 Laureates from 72 countries have received the distinction to date. However, our work goes beyond only presenting the Award. We provide these change-makers with long-term support. We work to raise their profile, highlight their solutions, provide protection when their lives and liberty are in danger and link them and their innovative solutions to academia.

Angesichts des zunehmenden Artensterbens in Flora und Fauna, leisten wir großflächig einen weiteren Beitrag zum Erhalt der Artenvielfalt.
