La Patella

Unique Private Island Home with Two Docks and Swimming Pool

La Patella is the only home in Old fort Bay on its own Private Island with a causeway access. The island is surrounded by water on all sides and opens up to the marina basin which is the largest expanse or open water in the community. Set on perfectly landscaped grounds sits an iconic home designed by the famed Italian architect, Luigi Caccia Dominioni and is set with a distinctive 3-pronged star shape.

The Home itself is 7,500 sq. ft. centered around a stunning large central spiral staircase. The front doors enter onto the living and dining area that flow out onto a large outdoor covered living space ideal for alfresco dining. The eat in kitchen has top of the line appliances and stainless-steel work tops. Downstairs in addition to the living room are two full ensuite bedrooms.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms including a master suite with an office and his and hers closets. A unique feature of this house is the wrap around balcony that stretches the entire circumference of the home. Another great feature is the built-in solid shutters that are both decorative and functional. All windows and doors are Impact resistant through the house.

The lushly landscaped grounds have two docks one with a new powerful 12 ft beam boat lift, a dark blue tiled swimming pool, Tiki hit with grill and approved plans for a two-car garage and staff cottage. The property has a new generator, pool heating system, new garden electrics and lighting including underwater dock lights.

La Patella is unique in another way in that it is only one of two homes with immutable beach rights and a key to access beach. All other non-beachfront homes must access the beach through the Old Fort Bay Club. In Old Fort Bay there is no other home as distinctive of private. La Patella simply must be seen.
