Discrete service on an extra special private island

Petit St. Vincent (PSV) is a paradise of softly rolling hills spread over 113 acres surrounded by two miles of white sandy beaches. It has been tamed just enough to allow for the presence of 22 discreet and simple, yet luxurious cottages. Lying well off the tourist mainstream, the island could be best described by what is not there. There is no airport, no formal check in, no keys. There are no televisions or telephones in the cottages. Every 20 minutes a servant goes round the island, so if you hoist the yellow flag he will be happy to take your order. If the red flag is hoisted, neither room service or anybody else will disturb you.

Location
The Grenadines are a group of islands sprinkled across what may be the most beautiful stretch of water in the Caribbean. Petit St. Vincent lies 40 miles south of St. Vincent.

Accommodation
The cottages are situated to make the most of their immediate surroundings. Some are notched into the hills and bluffs to catch the breeze and savour the views; most are just steps from the beach. Each of the cottages features a wooden sun deck, living room, bedroom, one or twobathrooms. The bathrooms have a shower, robes, fluffy towels and a medley of Bulgari toiletries.

Dining
In the restaurant, on the beach, at your villa – the choice is yours!
The chef regularly expanding the menu featuring fresh local seafood and superb meats.

Activities
Snorkelling, Hobie Cats, Sunfish, windsurfers and kayaks are all available at no extra cost.
You can charter day trips aboard Beauty, a 49-foot sailing yacht. There is a well-lit tennis court where guests play during the cooler hours of the day.

Best time to travel
Temperatures vary little from January to July. Winds are a bit stronger in January and February, but there is always a good trade wind breeze. At any time of year, it can be described as peaceful and tranquil.

Getting there
Your principal gateway to PSV is Barbados. Guests are met, guided past immigration and flown on to neighbouring Union Island. PSV's Captain Maurice greets you at Union's airport and within minutes you are aboard and welcomed with a pina colada.
