Islas Secas is another beautiful archipelago 20 miles from civilization, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of Panama. Fourteen untouched islands meet luxury and relaxation between the beautiful ocean and Panama’s vibrant natural environment – a true ocean wilderness.

Rates
From USD 1,500 per casita per night based on single or double occupancy.

Rates include –

o    Daily made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner including beach picnics and barbeques
o    Most beverages including soft drinks, beers, house wines and spirits
o    Fully stocked minibar replenished once daily
o    Guided activities on property including archaeology, astronomy, birdwatching and nature hikes
o    Scuba diving and snorkeling trips within the Islas Secas archipelago (1 trip per day)
o    Non-motorized water sports activities including stand-up paddle-boarding and kayaking
o    One half day fishing trip within the Islas Secas archipelago per stay
o    One private island getaway day on Islas Pargo (includes picnic lunch & drinks, umbrella/chair setup, kayaks and paddleboards, and optional personal butler)
o    One 60 minute spa treatment per guest (18 years & above) per stay plus daily yoga classes
o    Laundry (NB dry cleaning is not available at the resort)
o    Road and boat transfers between David airport and Islas Secas

Rates exclude –

o    10% government tax on lodging
o    7% government tax all other purchases
o    10% service charge on all lodging and purchases
o    All fishing and excursions beyond the limits of the Islas Secas archipelago
o    Premium alcoholic drinks

Choose between seven casitas where low key luxury meets modern comforts and where private spaces enjoy outstanding views.  Natural tropical surroundings together with expansive bathrooms and sliding panels that allow cool breezes to underline the perfect escape.
The Tented Casitas are the most stylish tents this side of the Pacific. With indulgent four posted beds under canopied canvas roofs and outdoor soaking tubs, the secluded Tented Casitas are most romantic.
Casitas Mirador is the perfect getaway to those who are searching for peace and tranquility. Dive into a plunge pool overlooking the ocean between the beautiful nature and the sheltered lagoon.

A private path to the beach is a highlight of the two bedroom Casita Sombras. With two separate bedroom casitas, four guests are able to enjoy a beautiful stay in king or twin beds. Includes another plunge pool.
The treasure of family can be enjoyed in Casita Tres Palmas. Relax at the plunge pool after a whole day full of adventures. Up to four guests can relax in king and twin beds in two separate casita units.
Ready for space and luxury within a group up to eight guests? Casita Grande is the perfect way to relax in four separate casita units in the middle of the tropical beauty of Panama. Experience, connect and calm down.

Share your meal and talk at the focal point the Terraza. Locally sourced dishes with the freshest ingredients in the ambience of an open-air setting.
Start your day with greek yogurt, homemade granola and locally grown fruits like fresh papaya, mango, pineapple or kiwi.
Handcrafted panel interiors and displays of historic maps and local artworks, it’s the perfect place to relax with a book, enjoy an aperitif or post dinner nightcap.

Activities
Dive into another ocean wilderness and create your own marine adventure during the exclusive stay. Get close to majestic humpback whales, learn how to dive during a marine safari with the onsite scuba instructor and enjoy the variety of over 750 species of fish.
Snorkeling and scuba among turtles, sharks and whale sharks in the one hour distant Coiba National Park.

Best time to travel
The weather is at its best during the so-called dry season which stretches out between the months of December and April. May to August sees lots of sunshine punctuated by short sharp thunderstorms while July and August are peak whale-watching months. Please note Islas Secas is closed during the rainy season (September until mid-December).

Getting there
From Panama City there are 2 ways to get to Islas Secas. 
(1)    By Islas Secas’ private plane from Tocumen International Airport in Panama City direct to Islas Secas.  The resort’s private Twin Otter accommodates up to 15 guests and can land on the main is-land at Islas Secas.
(2)    Fly commercially to the city of David where you are met by the Islas Secas team and transferred by road to the coast to board Islas Secas‘ private boat for a scenic 1.5 hour journey over the ocean to the archipelago.
