Available only on an exclusive buy-out basis, Zizanj Private Island is the perfect getaway for European travelers. Dense, green olive groves cover the island’s gentle inclines, before eventually giving way to a magnificent modern villa, a private beach, and finally the deep blue hues of the Adriatic.

Lower rates apply during the Olive Picking and Pressing Season and discounts are available for smaller parties (upto 6+2 guests). All taxes and transfers are included within the price, as is a weekly cleaning fee and concierge service, but additional costs for boat hire, car rental, private chef / maid services may be incurred. Contact a member of the Vladi Private Islands Travel Team for more information.
Location
Zizanj Private Island can be found just to the south of Pasman within the glittering Kornati Archipelago. Only 8 km away from Biograd na Moru on the Croatian mainland, the island can be accessed by boat in only half an hour.
Accommodation
Located on the island’s sun-soaked southern coast, a modern, white-washed villa awaits. Capable of hosting a maximum of 14 guests (10 adults and up to four children) across five double bedrooms and two additional sofa beds, Zizanj’s bright and airy villa also boasts four bathrooms, two living rooms and a huge, professional-standard kitchen. Beyond the cool confines of your fabulous four walls, a sprawling terrace leads on to an incredible infinity pool and breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea.
Dining
Hire a private chef or enjoy self-catering with style – Zizanj’s incredible, open-plan kitchen comes complete with all imaginable appliances and utensils, including – but not limited to an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing facilities. Furthermore, a top-of-the-range barbecue can be found on the island’s terrace – perfect for those long summer evenings.
Activities
Further to reclining in the luxurious surroundings of your own accommodation, guests also have the option of renting a boat to discover more of the mainland or the nearby Kornati National Park. Particularly practical for self-caterers, boat hire comes highly recommended, as it allows for a greater sense of flexibility. Closer to home, it is also possible to help in the island’s own olive groves. Depending on the season, guests can get stuck into either olive picking or pruning and enjoy a delicious meal in the orchard as a reward.
How to Get There
Conveniently close to Zadar International Airport, Zizanj Island is one of Croatia’s most accessible private island destinations. After completing a 30 minute taxi journey to a pre-arranged pick-up point, guests will be greeted by a member of the Zizanj team before embarking on a brief boat transfer to the island itself.
Best Time To Travel
In keeping with much of the Mediterranean region, the months of May to September promise the very best of the weather conditions. Temperatures as high as 28°C are not uncommon during this period.
