Location
Situated within the midst of the Mamanuca Islands, Wadigi is a handsome chunk of volcanic rock situated just to the west of Fiji’s Nadi Island. Fans of the silver screen may well recognize the picturesque archipelago from the 2000 Tom Hanks blockbuster, Castaway.

Accommodation
The shores of Wadigi are blessed with three spacious and tastefully appointed suites – the Honeymoon Suite, the Sunrise Suite and the Sunset Suite. Each boasting large living rooms with unforgettable ocean views, these spectacular suites promise an attention to detail like no other. Air-conditioned and with en-suites, each of these chic residences has been designed with privacy very firmly in mind. Connected via a vast decking area which successfully creates a harmony between indoor and outdoor living, the suites are full of surprises. For extra-special occasions or simply for the ultimate in indulgence, check yourself into the Honeymoon Suite for an invigorating outdoor shower.

Dining
Wadigi Island is home to two talented chefs, dedicated to creating tantalizing recipes which are sure to keep you coming back for more. However demanding your dietary requirement, you can rest assured that the more-than capable cuisine team has it covered. Whether ovo-lacto-vegetarian, halal, kosher or simply a far-out food fantasy – nothing can stop these two chefs in their tracks. Indeed, with everything else taken care of, the only decision you need to make is whether to enjoy your romantic dinner in the open-air cliff-side pavilion or surrounded by flaming torches on the soft, sandy beach.

Activities
With your very own boat captain on hand to show you the best of local area, guests are perfectly placed for snorkeling tours, island hopping, village visits, fishing, water skiing and more. For a truly authentic Fijian feeling, there is a range of traditional and cultural activities to get involved in, including learning to catch fish with bare hands, drinking Kava and learning from the locals. White beaches, blue skies and lush green landscapes complete the picture, filling every minute of your island vacation with wonder and happiness.

Best Time To Travel
The months of May to October provide a very popular time to travel to this tropical island paradise, offering travelers less precipitation and less humidity than the Fijian summer. Temperatures hover around the late-twenties and early thirties through both “seasons”, however, providing guests from both the northern and southern hemisphere a much needed all-year island escape.

How To Get There
Accessible from all four corners of the globe, most major airlines offer flights to Fiji, with the majority calling in to Nadi International Airport. Reaching Wadigi from the island of Nadi couldn’t be simpler – either get your heart racing during a dramatic ten minute helicopter ride or travel in style by embarking on a relaxing two hour boat trip about the Tiger IV. Taking in the region’s most scenic sights, this boat journey is the perfect way to adjust to the castaway lifestyle and is sure to get you in the holiday mood.
