Double Island is a hidden gem found tucked away in the Municipality of Quezon, part of the Philippines’ Palawan Province - a popular region characterized by limestone cliffs,  lush jungle habitats and a myriad of enchanting island escapes. The famous Tabon Caves – a protected reservation known as the Philippines’ “cradle of civilization” - are also close by.

The region’s natural beauty is in abundance on Double Island, whose landscape is dominated by towering coconut trees, inviting stretches of sandy beach and crystalline waters. The sea surrounding the island guarantees safe swimming at both high and low tide, and is free of mud, rocks and pollutants.

The island – the small island of Double Island – comprises three separately titled areas and a further 20 meter wide salvage area. It boasts a traditional but comfortable home and a potable water source. Furthermore, there are telecommunications relays within 5 km of the island, meaning a good internet and cellphone connection are established.

The capital of the Palawan Province, Puerto Princesa, is located just 121 km away via the West Philippine Sea Highway or 171 km away via the Sulu Sea Highway. Puerto Princesa International Airport is currently the closest airport to the island. Just two kilometers from the pier, another commercial airport is budgeted by the local government, meaning access could become even easier.

The island is best accessed via a cemented pier at Balintang, some 3.5 km away from the island itself and is available for sale either outright, in lots or as part of a development partnership with the current owners.
