Best Time to Travel
The Tuamotu Archipelago enjoys more sunshine than anywhere else in French Polynesia. As such, it’s always a great time to travel there. Water clarity is at its best between October and May (ideal for diving), whereas the mildest weather can be enjoyed between June and September. Our top tip – try the shoulder seasons (April – May and October – November) to enjoy the best combination of diving and sunshine. If whale watching is your main motivation, July to November is the best time to travel.
