These two wonderful ocean islands are nestled in the protected cove of Beaver Harbour. Halifax is approximately 2 hours by car. The bigger island is 16.9 acres and the smaller is 2.6 acres. The islands lie close to the mainland and can be easily accessed by boat. On the opposite side, you will find the picturesque fishing village of Port Dufferin with basic shopping facilities as well as a motel with a dock for boats.

The islands are nicely covered with vegetation and trees and are surrounded by pebble beaches and granite rocks. The large Rocky Island offers a dramatic granite rock coastline, on which its name is based. An uninhabited cabin has been perched on this steep coastline for decades. The smaller of the Rocky Islands is separated from the main island only by a narrow passage.

There is also a 25,000 sq. ft. (approx. 2,323 sqm) mainland lot with sea and road frontage available, from where a boat can be launched to get to the island. It is located approx. two kilometres from the Rocky Islands. The purchase price for this lot is CAD 23,000.
