Peter Island (2.9 acres (1.2 ha)) is very accessible in a sheltered bay on the east coast of Nova Scotia. The landscape of the private island and its surroundings is typically dominated by fir and pine trees as well as sand and pebble beaches.

The mainland lot (2.6 acres (1.0 ha)) belonging to the Nowlan Head parcel serves as the base. From here you can reach the island in 15 minutes by boat, which is part of the sales package. The boat is a 2007 Princecraft Yukon with a 2007 - 9.9 Johnson outboard engine. So you are independent and can transfer between the island and the mainland by yourself at any time. Contacts on site for maintenance and a winter storage we give you with pleasure.

Peter Island offers very good conditions to create an idyllic island domicile. The development is available. The island has not been used for many years, therefore investments are currently required. A project e.g. for new contractors with handicraft skills, because a lot can be done by oneself. Of course, you can also hire a local craft company. It is a special opportunity to acquire the island and a mainland plot for a very reasonable price.

The existing log cabin is not for sale, but it is included in the sales package. It requires repair work on some exterior walls and the roof. The blueprints of the log home are available and the manufacturer with its log home factory near Halifax can produce these replacement segments or the walls could be replaced with stud construction.
A great deal of effort is required, but the base is already in place.

Also recommended are a few simple landscaping measures that are a given with regular use; the old dead trees should be cut down to make room and light for the young growth already present. The open areas around the house should be mowed again.
