A UNESCO world heritage site in the Adriatic Sea, Mamula island is a carefully restored 19th century fort.

Location
Mamula island is located Montenegro’s Boka bay.

Accommodation
10 rooms, 14 junior suites and 8 suites are full of light and intimacy, with every detail considered and need catered for. Features and fittings have been selected so the guest can hide away as if they were at home.

There are four types of rooms to choose from: Garden, Sea, Sky, and Panoramic.

Garden Rooms are intimate in size, modern in look, and bright in feel. On the sea side the guest have their own concealed terrace with views stretching out over the Adriatic Sea. Facing the pool, you have a communal garden you share with your neighbors.

Panoramic Rooms and Panoramic Suites
Thanks to its fairytale setting in a tower on an island, the Panoramic room and suite boasts breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea through floor-to-ceiling windows and a freestanding bathtub with sky views. Be sure to: enjoy pre-dinner apéritfs, or post-dinner nightcaps, on your own terrace while the sea calmly passes by below.

The Sea Junior Suite is a spacious and peaceful hideaway just a stone's throw from the Adriatic Sea.
The Sea junior suite allows you to enjoy the views of the brilliant blue sea melding into the blue sky right from your bed. Thanks to its unique room within a room design, you benefit from separate living and sleeping areas.
Sky Suite Fortress View is located in the Spa Tower, this suite encircles the atrium below and offer ultimate comfort-living. Here, natural, earthy tones mix with bright hues and custom-crafted geometric furniture
Sky Suite Sunrise and Sky Suite Fresco is located in the Spa Tower, these suites embrace the tower’s original features to create a calm and laid-back atmosphere. Here the guests benefit from more space and revel in early sunrises.

Sky Jacuzzi Suite Fortress View and Sky Jacuzzi Suite Fresco is located in the Spa Tower, this suite has their own private jacuzzi which seats four. Located in the spa tower, each spacious suite has its own unique fresco showcasing the layers of artwork that each admiral added to the ceiling throughout Mamula’s history.

Two Bedroom Sky Jacuzzi Suite Fortress View and Two Bedroom Sky Jacuzzi Suite is Located in the Spa Tower, these suites connect 2 bedrooms and have their own private jacuzzi which seats four.

 

Dining
Executive Chef Erica Archambault brings all of her interests into the kitchen, and onto the Island in 3 restaurants and 4 bars.

Kamena - At the fine dining, a six-course set menu is the perfect companion for a sunset dining. Seasonal vegetables and freshly caught fish take centre stage, with the menu continually adapting to what the land and sea provide.

Sun deck - Here there’s a summery dish for all moods. From raw bar, seafood to light salads, or wood-oven baked specialties. Enjoy all of this while the sun shines and the waves crash.

Pool deck - A social place for sun, relaxed drinks and all-day dining. Comforting, diverse, and tasty dishes are infused with Mediterranean flavours.
Beach - The beach picnic baskets contain everything the guest want for a day by the water.

Activities
Atelier Mamula - Inspire & Create: A creative space where the guest can be the artist or where they can find inspiration from artists in the residence.

Studio Mamula - This makerspace is set up for a range of events, workshops, and masterclasses. Culinary, cultural, music, seminars, cinema, wedding ceremonies, parties, talks…
Activities - Explore nature by foot or bike.

Best Time to Travel
May to September is the best month for visiting Montenegro. The peak season is July to August. The warmest month is July (26.1 °C), the coldest month is January with averages of 5.5 °C.

How to Get There
Tivat Airport is less than an hour drive away and a short boat ride from Mamula Island.
